Don’t expect these to be pick up bars full of trans women and the guys who want to try and hook up with them as those don’t exist at the moment.

Axis opened before the turn of the century and has been one of the top LGBT nightclubs in town since day 1. They generally have regular drag shows on Saturday and Sunday nights and you can grab a drink from 10pm to2:30am Friday through Sunday but they are closed the rest of the week.
Southbend Tavern has been doing their thing since 2011 and you can visit them to try and meet Columbus trans women from 12pm to 2:30am daily. Expect to find drag shows starting at 10pm on Tuesday, 11pm on Wednesday, and at both 10pm and midnight on Friday and Saturday nights.

District West opened in 2020 and all kinds of people gather there from 6pm to 2:30am daily. Having opened in 2009 you can currently party at Cavan from 3pm to 2:30am Sunday through Friday and from 12pm to 2:30am on Saturday. Saturday would be the most likely night to find drag shows and other ts-girls in your area partying, but any night of the week they might turn up here.
Union Cafe has been welcoming the local LGBT community since 1996 and their current hours of operation are 11am to 2am Monday through Sunday. They also have drag brunches on Saturday mornings plus more regularly scheduled drag shows on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings and drag trivia on Tuesdays at 7pm.
Because Toolbox Saloon does not share a lot of information online we want to respect their wishes meaning this section will be short and sweet. It is a popular LGBT bar where trans grab a drink and hang out from time to time, plus they have events that can involve drag queens too.
AWOL is open from 2pm to 2:30am Monday through Friday and from 12pm to 2:30am on Saturday and Sunday but we have put it at the bottom of the list because it is more of a gay bar then an all around LGBT bar. They do have sporadic drag shows, but it is at the bottom of the list for a reason.
