Don’t expect these to be pick up bars full of trans women and the guys who want to try and hook up with them as those don’t exist at the moment.

Barbarella is closed all day Sunday and Monday but is open until 2am the rest of the week starting at 9:30pm on Friday and Saturday, 10pm on Tuesday and Thursday, and 9pm on Wednesday. It could be wise to visit on Tuesday for their Tuesgays events that start at 10pm with a big drag show at midnight.
After re-opening at their current location in 2014 Cheer Up Charlie’s has become one of the top transgender hot spots in Austin but they are closed on Monday so don’t go then. The doors close at 2am throughout the rest of the week while they open at 6pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, 4:30pm on Thursday, 4pm on Friday and Saturday, and 2pm on Sunday.
There are drag shows or other ts related events every night they are open with multiple some nights, often on weekends.
There are six bars across three stories to party at in Highland Lounge which opened in 2014 and their popular Re-Tucked Drag Show every Friday is a can’t miss. They are closed on Monday through Wednesday but are open from 9:30pm to 3:30am on Friday and Saturday and from 7:30pm to 2am on Sunday and Thursday.
